Occasionally, patients experience more significant swelling after Kybella® that lasts longer than a week. This is normal but is something to keep in mind before your treatment. Because the swelling can be unpredictable, we don’t recommend Kybella® right before a big event.

The results of Kybella® treatment are gradual and can take several weeks to fully appear. After the deoxycholic acid breaks down the targeted fat cells, it takes time for your body to flush them out.
Once the treatments are complete, you can expect a more defined jawline and a reduced double chin. The results of Kybella® can be permanent, as the destroyed fat cells will not regenerate.
