Halo: Why it Works
HALO is the first treatment option to use dual laser technology. Ablative wavelengths are used to treat the outer layer of the skin (the epidermis). Non-ablative wavelengths are used to treat the deeper layer of skin (the dermis). Combined wavelengths provide patients with maximum results.
There is little downtime associated with Halo procedures. Results are usually seen 5-7 days after treatment. Superficial and deep dermal treatment improves skin appearance and health by:
- Correcting sun damage
- Improving the appearance of age/sunspots
- Minimizing pore size
- Stimulating collagen and elastin
Patients notice a youthful glow after their procedures. Skin texture and tone improve. Sun damage and fine lines are minimized. Results are long-lasting providing patients take care of their skin by following post-treatment instructions and skin care specifically provided by their Capital Laser & Skin Care Dermatologist
Halo is the ideal treatment option for patients who want to reverse the effects of sun damage on the face and/or neck and chest. Generally, treatment is reserved for patients who have no serious medical conditions or illnesses. Patients who are interested in treatment are encouraged to arrange an initial consultation with one of our board-certified dermatologists.
